Anfisa Savchenko and Lena Zaharova are the founders of Purpur, an app that allows you to create a strong connection with your partner through communication. “It’s a fun activity where you can have a meaningful conversation by responding to questions created by therapy experts, we don’t give lectures or tell you what to do.”

What started as a card deck, has now become an app so more people can use this to improve their communication in a way that is not only affordable but also fun. Through this app, you can stay connected when one person is away by answering questions or using the card deck mode when talking face-to-face.

“When we first started, we primarily focused on relationships and sex, but now we want to be there for you at every stage of your lives; as a lifelong communication tool.” They recently released other lifestyle topics such as finance and layoffs. To help partners in talking about their ideal vacation spots and other wises, a travelling deck was introduced in June.

Recently, Purpur joined the Next Valley Program, which focuses on helping them enter the Dutch online therapy market. “We are currently translating the questions to other languages and are organizing a focus group meeting in Amsterdam next month to examine the differences in markets and communities.“ We warmly welcome Purpur to the Netherlands; the number one stop when you need to talk something through.
